公共教育支出、产业结构升级与城乡收入差距收敛

摘　　要：本文以2010~2022年我国31个省(区、市)的面板数据为基础,将公共教育支出、产业结构升级和城乡收入差距三者联系起来,实证分析公共教育支出对我国城乡收入差距的影响效应、传导路径以及区域异质性,并检验了产业结构升级在这一路径中的中介作用和门槛效应。结果显示,首先,公共教育支出在整体上显著促进了城乡居民收入差距的收敛,且具有推动其他地区城乡收入差距缩小的空间溢出效应;其次,公共教育支出对城乡收入差距的影响具有区域异质性,其在中西部地区对城乡收入差距的收敛效应大于东部地区;最后,公共教育支出对城乡收入差距的收敛效应具有非线性门槛特征,且产业结构升级在这一影响路径中发挥着重要的中介作用。本文的研究结论为进一步优化公共教育支出结构、缩小城乡收入差距提供了政策启示。Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2010 to 2022,this paper links public education expenditure,industrial structure upgrading and urban-rural income gap,empirically analyzes the influence effect,transmission path and regional heterogeneity of public education expenditure on urban-rural income gap in China,and tests the intermediary effect and threshold effect of industrial structure upgrading in this path.The results show that:Firstly,public education expenditure has a significant role in narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas,and has a spatial spillover effect in promoting the narrowing of the urban-rural gap in other regions.Secondly,the impact of public education expenditure on urban-rural income gap has regional heterogeneity,its role in narrowing the urban-rural income gap in the central and western regions is greater than that in the eastern region.Thirdly,the narrowing effect of public education expenditure on urban-rural income gap has non-linear threshold characteristics,and industrial structure upgrading plays an important intermediary role in this influence path.The conclusion of this paper provides policy enlightenment for further optimizing the structure of public education expenditure and narrowing the urban-rural income gap.
