传统儒学中俭德的内涵、现代性转化与现代价值

摘　　要：传统儒学中的俭德是一种重要德性,在不同时代有不同内涵。从传统内涵来看,它具有节制、节约的含义,主要展现了主体在农业社会中的生存智慧;从现代内涵来看,它具有资源节约、物尽其用的含义,主要体现了市场主体经济理性和道德理性的品质。在市场经济条件下,俭德尽管受到了一些经济学家的质疑,但仍然具有重要的社会性价值和个体性价值。从社会性价值来看,提出节俭,并不会导致生产难以维系,也不会制约社会经济的稳定与发展;相反,俭德有助于生产和消费的顺利进行,能够促进社会的稳定和发展。从个体性价值来看,倡导俭德符合消费时代的长远发展趋势,有助于个体之间形成良好的道德关系、提升道德修养、促进在全社会形成崇尚俭朴的社会风尚。Frugality in traditional Confucianism is an important virtue with different connotations in different eras.From a traditional perspective,itm eans constraint and thrift,mainly demonstrating the survival wisdom of the subject in agricultural society;from a modern perspective,it refers to re-source saving and making the best use of everything,mainly reflecting the qualities of market entities in economic rationality and moral rationality.Un-d er market economy conditions,although the virtue of frugality is questioned by some economists,it still has important social and individual value.From the angle of social value,frugality will not lead to difficulties in maintaining production,nor will it destroy the stability and development of thes ocial economy.On the contrary,the virtue of frugality contributes to the smooth progress of production and consumption,which can promote social sta-bility and development.From the angle of individual value,advocating frugality is in line with the long-term development trend of the consumptione ra,which helps to form good moral relationships between individuals,enhance moral cultivation,and promote the formation of a simple and frugal so-cial atmosphere in the whole society.
