To ensure the safety of the construction of a large-diameter shield tunnel passing through an existing municipal tunnel, this article takes the construction of the nearby Jinyuan Road tunnel between Yunxi Park Station and Xiaojinzhong Station as the engineering background, and based on the settlement monitoring results of the existing Jinyuan Road tunnel, conducts a comprehensive analysis of the stability during the nearby construction process through sharp point mutation analysis and deformation prediction. The analysis results show that through the sharp point mutation analysis,it is found that the A values of the settlement of the Jinyuan Road tunnel structure and the settlement of the arch bottom are both greater than O,indicating that the existing tunnel has better stability under the current conditions;Meanwhile, through deformation prediction analysis,it was found that although the subsequent settlement deformation of the Jinyuan Road Tunnel will increase, the rate of in-crease tends to decrease, indicating that the subsequent stability during the construction process of the adjacent existing tunnel is still good.By comparison, the construction of new tunnels does have an impact on the nearby Jinyuan Road tunnel, but the degree of impact is within a con-trollable range and always has good stability.
