摘 要:莎士比亚戏剧中蕴含大量生命和死亡的隐喻语言,其中《哈姆雷特》中的“死亡”隐喻表达尤为丰富。在认知隐喻学视域下,对《哈姆雷特》中的“死亡”概念隐喻进行系统分析,发现莎士比亚在“死亡”意义的表达上运用了大量隐喻的手法,且剧中“死亡”隐喻多为本体隐喻,其源域十分丰富。此外,“死亡”隐喻源域的选择和隐喻映射的过程与说话人的切身体验和死亡态度紧密相关。探究莎剧中“死亡”隐喻的内部结构能够搭建准确理解其戏剧主题和深层内涵的认知桥梁,同时也揭示了概念隐喻在塑造人类认知思维和丰富文学语言表达中的核心地位。Shakespeare's plays contain a large number of metaphors of life and death,among which the"death"metaphor in Hamlet is particularly rich.This article systematically analyzes and summarizes the conceptual metaphors of"death"in Hamlet from the perspective of cognitive metaphorology,and finds that Shakespeare uses a lot of metaphorical techniques to express the meaning of"death".Most of the"death"metaphors in the play are ontological metaphors and source domains of them are very rich in variety.Findings also reveal that the selection of source domain and the process of metaphorical mapping are closely related to the speaker's embodied experience and attitude towards death.The study of the internal structure of"death"metaphors in Shakespeare's plays can not only build a cognitive bridge to accurately understand its dramatic theme and deep connotation,but also reveal the core position of conceptual metaphor in shaping human cognition and enriching literary language.
