欧洲早期汉籍书目中《西游记》的叙录及其意义

摘　　要：19世纪初至20世纪初,欧洲的汉籍《西游记》收藏与研究逐渐丰富起来。至少19种英、比利时、法、意、德以及梵蒂冈的汉籍藏书与研究书目对《西游记》有叙录。藏书书目与研究书目对《西游记》的叙录各有侧重:前者重在对作者、版本、内容进行著录,后者则重在书名解题、小说故事评述及节译等方面。这些书目叙录是《西游记》在欧洲早期传播的文献基础和研读指南,也是《西游记》西传的开拓和西方西游学的发端,促进了《西游记》在西方世界后续的翻译、研究与传播。Between the early 19th and early 20th centuries,European collections and studies of Chinese books on Journey to the West became progressively richer.At least 19 Chinese books and research books on it in England,Belgium,France,Italy,Germany and the Vatican have been recorded.These bibliographies and research bibliographies have their own emphasis:the former focuses on authorship,edition,and content,while the latter on the title and commentaries on the story and the translation of excerpts.These catalogues serve as the bibliographical foundation and study guides of the early dissemination of Journey to the West in Europe,as well as the representation of the Westward transmission of the book and the beginnings of Sinological research in the West.They also promoted the subsequent translation,study,and dissemination of Journey to the West in the Western world.
