江苏兽类新纪录——小泡巨鼠兼记江苏产海南社鼠形态与分布

摘  要:于2019年3月16日,在江苏省宜兴市太华镇(119.56392273°E,31.18658179°N)进行小型兽类野外调查时,采集到小泡巨鼠属(Leopoldamys)标本1号;结合形态特征比较和基于细胞色素b(Cyt b)、细胞色素氧化酶I(COI)和16S核糖体核糖核酸(16S rRNA)基因片段的系统发生分析,确定为小泡巨鼠[(L.edwardsi)(Thomas,1882)],系江苏省兽类属级新纪录。2022年10月—2023年4月,在江苏省南京市江宁区汤山(118.99581021°E,31.99214746°N)和高淳区马鞍山(118.9560781°E,31.2719167°N)采集到白腹鼠属(Niviventer)标本共计12号;结合形态学比较和分子系统发生分析,确定为海南社鼠[(N.lotipes)(Allen,1926)]。根据分子系统学的近期研究报道,对海南社鼠和北社鼠[(N.confucianus)(Milne-Edwards,1871)]在长江下游地区的分布格局进行了厘定和讨论。研究结果丰富了江苏兽类多样性,为相关啮齿动物的系统发生、生物地理和遗传多样性研究提供了基础资料。The collection of a Leopoldamys specimen took place on March 16th,2019,during the field surveys conducted for small mammals research in Taihua Town,Yixing,Jiangsu Province(119.56392273E,31.18658179N).The identification of the specimen as L.edwardsi(Thomas,1882)was confirmed through a series of morphological comparisons and phylogenetic analyses using Cyt b,COI and 16S rRNA gene fragments.This discovery signifies the first documented occurrence of a previously unknown mammal genus in Jiangsu Province.Additionally,between October 2022 and April 2023,twelve Niviventer specimens were collected from Tangshan in Jiangning District(118.99581021°E,31.99214746°N)and Ma anshan in Gaochun District(118.9560781E,31.2719167N),Nanjing,Jiangsu Province.These specimens were confirmed as N.lotipes(Allen,1926)based on morphological and phylogenetic analyses.Furthermore,the distribution patterns of N.confucianus(Milne-Edwards,1871)and N.lotipes in the lower Yangtze River region were reassessed and analyzed in light of recent molecular phylogenetic findings.This study enhances our comprehension of mammalian diversity in Jiangsu and provides essential data for further research on the phylogeny,biogeography,and genetic diversity of related murid rodents.
