Rectal cancer is a common malignant tumor of digestive tract.Operation is the main treatment method. The surgery brings less invasive with the use of equipment and technology such as laparoscopy and the Da Vinci robot, but still requires an auxiliary incision in the abdominal wall for specimen extraction and the placement of the anvil. The natural orifice specimen extraction(NOSES)procedure is an advanced minimally invasive surgical technique that uses the natural orifice to remove gastrointestinal specimens and complete laparoscopic enterostomy. This technique has demonstrated significant clinical advantages, particularly in the treatment of rectal cancer, including reduced postoperative pain, shorter hospital stays, avoidance of scarring, and improved the quality of patient's life. This paper describes a case of laparoscopic radical rectal cancer resection without auxiliary abdominal incision(CRC NOSES I B),and discusses the feasibility and technical points of this procedure.
