摘　　要：什么是太空舱?太空舱是运送货物、科学实验设备和/或航天员(宇航员)往返太空的航天器的核心部件。太空舱与其他航天器有什么区别?太空舱与其他航天器的区别是,它能再入大气层,并将科学载荷从运行轨道或亚轨道带回地面。相比其他返回式航天器,太空舱的外形圆钝,没有机翼,通常只携带少量安全返回地球所需的燃料。What is a spacecapsule?A space capsule is the core section of a spacecraft designed to transport cargo,scientific experiments,and/or taikonauts to and from space.How are space capsules distinguished from other spacecrafts?Space capsules are distinguished from other spacecrafts by the ability to survive reentry and return a payload to the Earth's surface from orbit or sub-orbit,and are distinguished from other types of recoverable spacecraft by their blunt shape,not having wings and often containing little fuel no more than what is necessary for a safe return.
