摘 要:电影《死亡诗社》通过描述尼尔同老师、父母、同学之间的情感故事讲述了自由与理想在压抑的社会迸发星火的故事。在学校里,春风化雨与恪守成规存在着尖锐的冲突,这在本质上是教育社会本位论和个体本位论的冲突;在家庭里,专制型父母与尼尔存在深刻的矛盾,这种矛盾其实是尼尔觉醒的真我对专制型父母的反抗;尼尔的自我因陷入理想与现实的困境中不可自拔而发生悲剧,这不是个性教育的失败,反而引发我们对功利性教育的反思。The movie Dead Poets Society vividly narrates the emergence of a spark of freedom and ideals in an oppressive society,through the lens of Neil’s emotional interactions with his teacher,parents,and peers.In schools,there exists a sharp conflict between subtle and implicit nurture and strict and explicit education;essentially a conflict between social-oriented education and individual-oriented education;in the family,there lies a conflict between manipulative parents and Neil,essentially the awakening of Neil’s self rebelling against his manipulative parents.The tragedy of Neil’s falling into the inescapable dilemma of ideal and reality,which does not mean the failure of personalized education but prompts our reflection on utilitarian education instead.
