With the acceleration of urbanization and the increase of transportation demand, shield tunnels have become an important field for modern transportation construction. The impact of heavy vehicle on the tunnel may lead to stress concentration and damage of the lining structure,so the analysis of its mechanical response is particularly important.ABAQUS software is first used to establish a large-diameter shield tunnel model, which takes into accounts the nonlinear mechanical properties of the tunnel lining material and the interaction between the soil and the tunnel lining. Then, heavy vehicle impact velocity was applied to the model to analyze its mechanical response to the tunnel lining in terms of stress and displacement. The results show that the heavy vehicle impact produces a significant stress concentration in the tunnel lining, especially near the impact point. In addition, the maximum displacement of the tunnel lining increases with the increase of impact velocity and impact angle, which may cause local structural damage or even overall instability. This paper provides a theoretical basis for the design and construction of shield tunnels, and helps to improve the impact resistance and safety of tunnel structures.
