摘　　要：诸多研究都揭示了19世纪浪漫主义诗人济慈对20世纪重要作家菲茨杰拉德的影响。济慈的身影与风格频频现于菲茨杰拉德的书信和作品中,两人共同书写了英语文学史上的美丽篇章。乔纳森·贝特所著的《明亮的星和绿光:济慈与菲茨杰拉德的美丽作品和悲惨人生》一书,融传记的平行书写与文学的影响研究为一体,生动展现了济慈和菲茨杰拉德在生活上的悲惨境遇和在美学上的灵魂共振,揭示了两位作家及其作品的深层联系,为读者描绘了两个浪漫主义者横跨百年时空的人生轨迹和思想传承。Numerous studies have revealed the influence of the 19th-century Romantic poet John Keats on the prominent 20th-century writer F.Scott Fitzgerald.Keats’s presence and style frequently appear in Fitzgerald’s letters and works,and they both have written a beautiful chapter in the history of English literature.Jonathan Bate’s book,Bright star,green light:the beautiful works and damned lives of John Keats and F.Scott Fitzgerald,integrates biography with literary influence studies,vividly portraying the tragic circumstances of Keats and Fitzgerald’s lives and the aesthetic resonance in their souls and reveals the profound connection between the two writers and their works.It depicts the life path and ideological inheritance of the two romantics across a hundred years of time and space for readers.
