摘　　要：华裔作家张纯如于1997年出版了The Rape of Nanking:the Forgotten Holocaust of World War II一书(后文简称The Rape of Nanking),不久便登上《纽约时报》畅销榜榜首,产生了极大的社会影响力。文章将以张纯如的The Rape of Nanking为研究对象,从无本译写研究视角去理解张纯如在通读、翻译多个底本之后,如何将碎片式底本内化,从而运用到自己的创作当中。文章将对该书译的成分展开“底本追踪”,分析原作者在创作过程中的“译”“写”关系和该书对于西方世界与中国所产生的种种建构和影响,以一种新的研究视角来深入探讨文本的社会化和反作用力。文章有利于深化对华裔作家写作方式的研究,从当代美华文学回溯其作品展现出来的家国情怀。American Chinese writer Iris Chang published her book The Rape of Nanking:The Forgotten Holocaust of World War II around 1997 and soon became the first on the New York Times best-seller list,which also had a great impact upon the Western world and China.This paper will conduct a detailed survey on the basis of this book from the perspective of Sourceless Transwriting.It will trace and study the fragmented source text pieces of the book so as to have a basic understanding of the relations between translating and writing within it.It will also analyze the motives and mental internalization of the writer after her reading,translating and processing multiple source texts.What’s more,this paper will also study the great shaping force and influences of the book from the newly perspective of Sourceless Transwriting.This paper is conducive to deepen the research in terms of the style of contemporary Chinese American writers,and see through the patriotism demonstrated in their works.
