摘　　要：气是维持人体生命活动最基本的物质,人之气由内气和外气构成,内气就是中医气的概念,包括精气、元气、营气、卫气、宗气、真气、脏腑之气等;外气是弥散在人体周围、皮毛之外的、与生俱来的无形物质。内气通过孔穴、毛窍释放到体表形成外气,内气是外气的来源,也是外气的基础,外气是内气的外在表现,内气通过外气与外界相互作用。外气是人与外界相互作用、相互交流的物质介质和信息物质。正常情况下,人体内气和外气保持动态平衡。二者在体内及肌表周流不息,弥漫六合;循环往复,同消同长。外气具有调节、中介、防御、治疗等作用,在人体各项生理活动中发挥着重要功能。Qi is the most basic substance for maintaining the vital activities of human body.Human qi is composed of inner qi and outer qi.In traditional Chinese medicine,qi refers to inner qi,including jing qi,yuan qi,ying qi,wei qi,zong qi,zhen qi and qi of viscera.Outer qi is an invisible substance surrounding the human body and outside the skin,it is innate.Inner qi is released to the body surface through acupoints and hairs to form outer qi.Inner qi is the source or the basis of outer qi while outer qi is the external manifestation of inner qi.Inner qi interacts with the outside world through outer qi,the material medium and information matter through which human and the out-side world interact and communicate with each other.Under normal conditions,Inner qi and outer qi are in dynamic equilibrium.The two flow in the body and on the muscle surface,and diffuse in the twelve meridian,circulating,fluctuating together.Outer qi plays an impor-tant role in various physiological activities of the human body with functions like regulation,mediation,defense and treatment.
