英语专业学习者幸福感、二语坚毅与英语学业成就关系研究  

A Study on the Relationships among English Major Students’Well-being,L2 Grit and English Language Achievement

摘  要:本研究基于对255名英语类专业大一学生的调查,通过相关分析与线性回归分析的方法探究了我国高校英语专业学习者的幸福感、二语坚毅与英语学业成就的关系。结果显示:(1)幸福感与二语坚毅显著正相关;(2)幸福感和二语坚毅均与高考英语成绩显著正相关,与自评英语水平显著负相关;(3)幸福感中的投入、意义、成就显著正向预测二语坚毅中的不懈努力,成就显著正向预测如一兴趣;(4)幸福感和二语坚毅对高考英语成绩不具有预测作用,但对自评英语水平具有显著负向预测作用。Based on a questionnaire survey among 255 English major freshmen,this study explored the relationships among Chinese EFL learners’well-being,L2 grit and foreign language achievement by means of correlation analysis and linear regression analysis.The results showed that:(1)well-being is positively correlated with L2 grit;(2)both well-being and L2 grit are positively correlated with learner’s English scores on the National College Entrance Exam,while negatively correlated with their self-rated English proficiency;(3)“engagement”,“meaning”and“achievement”in well-being significantly and positively predict“perseverance of effort”in L2 grit,while“achievement”significantly and positively predicts“consistency of interest”;(4)well-being and L2 grit have no predictive effect on the English scores on the National College Entrance Exam,but have significantly negative predictive effect on learners’self-rated English proficiency.
