英汉语翻译中的文化呈现:基于英语电影片名汉译的个案研究

摘　　要：英语电影既是英语语言习得的重要媒介之一,也是传播不同国家文化的一种方法。随着世界国家之间语言沟通的深入与文化交流的密切,英语电影片名的汉译就凸显出日益增长的重要性。英语电影片名的汉译不仅仅是简单的语言转换,更是两种文化之间的碰撞与交融。基于翻译界归化与异化这两种翻译方法,笔者通过四个英语电影片名汉译的个案,对文化呈现的异同展开了探讨。并且,针对不同情况,笔者提出了英语电影片名汉译的注意事项与相关建议。English movies are not only an important medium for English language acquisition,but also a method for spreading different cul⁃tures of different countries.With the deepening of language communication and close cultural exchange between countries around the world,the Chinese translation of English movie titles has become increasingly important.The translation of English movie titles into Chinese is not just a simple language conversion,but also a collision and blending between two cultures.Based on the two translation methods of domesti⁃cation and foreignization in the translation industry,the author explores the similarities and differences in cultural presentation through four case studies of translating English movie titles into Chinese.And,in response to different situations,the author proposes precautions and rel⁃evant suggestions for translating English movie titles into Chinese.
