柬埔寨现行中学历史教科书的涉华叙事与中国形象建构

摘  要:历史教科书是传承知识与文化的重要载体,它不仅在传递与构建国民历史记忆中发挥着重要作用,而且能体现一国对他国的整体性、官方性认知。对柬埔寨现行中学历史教科书中涉华内容进行归纳整理和分析,可发现柬埔寨构建出在古代历史悠久、经贸发达、文明先进的大国,在近代备受侵略、战争不断、不屈抗争的弱国,在现代日益崛起、迅猛发展、问题仍多的新兴国家。柬埔寨中学历史教科书建构的中国形象,不仅受到柬埔寨客观教育条件的影响,而且暗含着柬埔寨官方对中国的认知与战略考量,折射出其国家价值观和政策立场。探究柬埔寨中学历史教科书所塑造的中国形象及建构逻辑,有助于了解柬方对中国的认知程度及态度立场,为促进中柬两国合作提供现实依据,还能为中国在柬埔寨树立及维护良好的国家形象提供有益参考和新思路。As important vehicles for transmitting knowledge and culture,history textbooks do not only play a crucial role in conveying and shaping national historical memories but also reflect a country’s comprehensive and official perception of other nations.By sorting and analyzing the contents related to China in current high school history textbooks in Cambodia,the research finds that these textbooks outline China’s image in the context of the country,the region,and the world.They portray China as an ancient civilization with a rich history,advanced trade,and developed culture;as a weak nation beset by invasions and wars while showing resilient resistance in modern times;and as a rapidly developing emerging power grappling with numerous challenges in the contemporary era.China’s image constructed in high school history textbooks in Cambodia is not only shaped by the objective educational conditions in Cambodia but also implicitly reflects the Cambodian government’s perception and strategic considerations of China,as well as its ideological values and policy positions.Thoroughly analyzing the key China-related narratives in high school history textbooks in Cambodia and examining China’s image and its underlying logic is beneficial for understanding Cambodian perception and attitude towards China.The analysis can provide a practical foundation for promoting cooperation between China and Cambodia and offer valuable insights and new approaches for China to build and sustain a positive national image in Cambodia.
