摘　　要：目次一中国考古学形成与科学性诉求二学术目标转向与独立意识觉醒三走向整合之路四结语中国考古学已经走过百余年的发展历程,所取得的巨大成就为实现中华民族伟大复兴和增强国人文化自信做出了重要贡献。Chinese archaeology developed on the foundation of modern Western archaeology but was also influenced by domestic conditions,traditional scholarship,and new historical trends.In the early 2Oth century,the first Chinese scholars to introduce modern Western archaeology were primarily historians.Their methods and objectives for adopting Western archaeology were strongly influenced by historical scholarship.With the rise of the"doubting antiquity"mr ovement,Chinese historians urgently needed new materials to reconstruct the ancient history that had been questioned.Archaeology gained popularity because it could provide tangible evidence through field excavations.Consequently,from its inception,Chinese archaeology was positioned as a tool to"verify and supplement history,'heavily marked by historiography and inherently lacking independence.Since the 192Os,Chinese archaeology has made significant strides in field excavation,scientific research,and discipline building.However,its historical inclination has not decreased;it remains tied to its role of"verifying and supplementing history."In the latter half of the 2oth century,Chinese scholars increasingly demanded the independence of archaeology,attempting to fully break free from historical constraints.This led to a tendency to separate archaeology from historiography deliberately.Therefore,the true independence of Chinese archaeology requires it to be free from reliance on any single discipline while integrating with other fields to play a unique and irreplaceable role in the study of ancient history.
