摘　　要：英文世界的中国现代文学史建构是中国现代文学史书写的重要一翼。论文以新世纪以来王德威、张英进、邓腾克、罗鹏等人主编的四部文学史为例,探讨英文世界中国现代文学史的编排、方法论、文学史观等方面与大陆文学史的互动与互鉴。认为英语世界的“元历史”叙事的“异质性”与“非连续性”对“正史”的解构所带来的历史虚无主义可能成为一种新的东方主义历史叙事,但这不妨碍我们对域外视点的包容与借鉴。在全球化的当下,中国主体性的追寻紧密镶嵌在全球化的背景之中,在互相竞争的历史叙述中辨伪存真,“复线的历史”将给予我们接近文学史多重面相的契机。同时中国文学史主体性的建构既要建立在世界文学的语境之中,又要回到中国文学本身内在的心灵关照与文学史的诗性特质,唯有如此才有融入与引领世界对话的可能!The construction of the history of modern Chinese literature in the English-speaking world is an important part of the history writing of modern Chinese literature.Based on the examples of the four literary histories edited by David Der-wei Wang,Zhang Yingjin,Deng Tengke(Kirk Denton)and Luo Peng(Carlos Rojas),this essay explores such aspects as those of editing-compiling,methodology and concepts of literary history,and their interaction and mutual learning with the mainland literary histories,with the view that the kind of historical nihilism as brought on by the deconstruction of the orthodox histories by heterogeneity and non-continuity of the meta-historical narratives in the English-speaking world may become a new Orientalist historical narrative although it may not prevent us from embracing and learning from the points of view from outside China.In the current globalized context,the pursuit for Chinese subjectivity,closely embedded in the background of globalization,distinguishes between the falsehoods and seeks for the truths in the competing historical narratives as multi-linear histories will give us more opportunities to approach the multi-facets of literary histories.Meanwhile,the construction of the subjectivity of Chinese literary history must not only be built in the context of world literature but it must also return the inner soulful concerns within Chinese literature and the poetic qualities of the literary history.Only in so doing can it be possible to merge into the dialogue and lead it with the world.
