摘　　要：航海与殖民对近现代英国的发展起着至关重要的作用,海洋属性也因此成为英国性中不可忽视的特征。英国海洋文学作品不仅展现了这种属性,也使其得以强化和升华。戈尔丁的涉海小说既是英国殖民史的生动写照,也是对逝去“辉煌”的深刻反思,国家认同是贯穿其中的主线与灵魂。在二战后西方信仰危机和思想迷惘的社会背景下,戈尔丁的涉海作品对于凝聚民族共识和提振民族信心具有显著意义。其创作生涯后期《航海三部曲》中的海权书写是对昔日帝国“辉煌”的留恋,终究无法摆脱殖民意识的束缚。Maritime exploration and colonization have played a vital role in the development of modern Britain,making maritime identity an inseparable element of Britishness.British maritime literature not only reveals this attribute,but strengthens and elevates it.Golding’s sea-related novels vividly portray of the British colonial history with a profound reflection on the lost“glory”,with national identity as the core theme.Against the backdrop of the post-World War II ideological crisis and disorientation in the West,Golding’s sea-related works are of great significance in fostering national unity and boosting national confidence.His depiction of sea power in The Sea Trilogy,written during his later career captures the lingering nostalgia for the“glory”of the past empire,yet remains ultimately constrained by colonialist thinking.
