摘　　要：教师要“做学生为学、为事、为人的‘大先生’”,是进入新时代以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央针对高校思想政治工作和师德师风建设提出的重要论述。“大先生”的概念最早可追溯至先秦文献中关于“先生”概念的历史渊薮,其所蕴含的哲学观念、道德逻辑、思维方式和价值取向是对中华优秀传统文化和近代以来政治话语体系中“大先生”概念的创造性转化和创新性发展,凝含了中国共产党人对于高等教育发展规律、教师队伍建设规律、思想政治工作规律的深刻认识和历史眼光。厘清“大先生”概念形成的历史脉络、时代背景和文化渊源,有助于全面准确把握新时代“大先生”概念的科学内涵和价值意蕴,为新时代加强和改进高校师德师风建设打下坚实理论基础。The concept of"Mr.Big"can be traced back to the historical source of the concept of"Mr.Big"in pre-Qin literature.The philosophical concept,moral logic,mode of thinking and value orien-tation contained in it are the creative transformation and innovative development of the concept of"Mr.Big"in the excellent traditional Chinese culture and the political discourse system since modern times.It embodies the profound understanding and historical vision of the Chinese Communists for the law of higher education development,the law of teacher construction,and the law of ideological and political work.Clarifying the historical context,historical background and cultural origin of the concept of"Mr.Big"will help to fully and accurately grasp the scientific connotation and value impli-cation of the concept of"Mr.Big"in the new era,and lay a solid theoretical foundation for strength-ening and improving the construction of teachers'ethics in colleges and universities in the new era.
