摘　　要：这篇评论文章比较安东尼·瑞德的重要教科书A History of Southeast Asia:Critical Crossroads的两个中文译本。该书首译者为暨南大学的宋婉贞和张振江,中国台湾紧接着出版了韩翔中的译本。在海的另一边,日本学者也于2021年出版了该书的日文译本,并于2023年获得了著名的大平正芳奖。由于瑞德的书在亚洲引起了学术界强烈的兴趣,因此讨论有不同解读的翻译以及其翻译质量是有意义的。此文意在促进各方的努力,进一步激发学者和学生对东南亚研究的兴趣和理解。This review article compares the two Chinese translations of Anthony Reid's im-portant text book,A History of Southeast Asia:Critical Crossroads(Blackwell History of the World,2016).The first translation of this book was by Jinan University's Song Wanzhen and Zhang Zhenjiang.Chinese Taiwan soon after published Han Xiangzhong's translation.Across the sea Japanese scholars'translation of this book was also published in 2021,which won them a prestigious MasayoshiŌhira Award in 2023.Since Reid's book attracted such intense aca-demic interest in Asia,it makes sense to discuss translations which show different interpreta-tions of the translators,so as to further stimulate interests on Southeast Asia among academics and students alike.
