The intestinal microflora in the gut and the environment they live in constitute a microecological system, which affects organisms in many aspects. The occurrence of many diseases is also more or less related to the imbalance of intestinal microecosystem.Edible mushroom polysaccharide are an important class of bioactive substances, and has been shown in many studies that it has extremely high medicinal value. In recent years, researchers have found that edible mushroom polysaccharides improve intestinal function by regulating intestinal microecology, and have showed great application potential in the treatment of various metabolic diseases and systemic inflammation. This paper reviewed the regulation mechanism of edible mushroom polysaccharides on intestinal microecology and its effect on obesity, diabetes, inflammatory enteritis, and other diseases, which has certain reference value for clinical drug development and the application of dible mushroom polysaccharides in the treatment of metabolic disease.
