摘　　要：“人口规模巨大的现代化”是中国式现代化的显著特征,也是推进学校体育现代化实践决策的基本出发点。“人口规模巨大”的学校体育现代化是全体学生全面发展的现代化,是兼顾区域客观差异的现代化,是创新多元发展模式的现代化。“人口规模巨大”的学校体育现代化一方面具有无可替代的优势:师生基数大,各方高度关注,管理机构制度健全;学术组织多、学术思想流派“百家争鸣”,体育教学实践“百花齐放”;竞赛活动多,学生广泛参与,体教融合不断深化。另一方面,也面临着无法回避的挑战:人均资源数量偏低且分布不均;体育课程供给不足且特色不强;学校体育治理任务繁杂且协作不畅等。提出优化顶层设计方案,健全普惠共享的学校体育服务体系;推进供给侧结构性改革,提供优质均衡的学校体育课程资源;深化体育教学改革,创新提质增效的学校体育发展模式;完善治理体制机制,构建多方参与的学校体育治理格局。“Modernization with huge population scale”is a prominent feature of the Chinese path to modernization,and it is also the basic starting point to promote the practice and decision-making of school P.E.modernization.The modernization of school P.E.with huge population scale is to comprehensively develop all the students,to take into account the regional differences,and to innovate diversified development models.It has irreplaceable advantages on one hand:a large number of teachers and students,high attention from all parties,and a sound management system.There are many academic organizations.The academic schools of thought are competing and P.E.practices are flourishing.There are many sports competitions that the students participate widely,and the integration of sports and education continues to deepen.On the other hand,it also faces unavoidable challenges.The per capita resource quantity is low and unevenly distributed.The supply of P.E.courses is insufficient and their characteristics are not clear.The complex tasks of school sports governance and the lack of smooth cooperation pose practical challenges.To solve these problems,an optimized top-level design and a comprehensive and shared school sports service system should be established.Supply side structural reform should be made so as to provide high-quality and balanced school P.E.curriculum resources.P.E.reform should be deepened so as to improve the quality and efficiency and the governance mechanism of school P.E..
