摘 要:本研究采用在线语法判断任务,考察语块形符频率(高、中、低)、类符频率(高、低)、英语水平(中高、中低)对中国学习者组构语块加工的影响。研究发现:两水平组语块加工均具有形符频率和类符频率效应,且二者效应呈此消彼长趋势;相比中低水平组,中高水平组对具有不同形符频率和类符频率语块的识别速度更快、错误率更低。据此,本研究提出具有不同形符和类符频率语块的加工与表征发展模式以及提高二语学习者语块习得的可行途径。研究发现为基于构式习得理论的英语教学提供了有力的支持,有助于我国的英语构式教学。By comparing the performance on an online grammaticality judgement task between two groups of English majors at two proficiency levels,this study investigates the effects of token frequency(categorized as high-,mid-and low-token-frequency),type frequency(distinguished as high-and low-type-frequency) and English proficiency(assessed as higher and lower proficiency) on Chinese learners' processing of compositional sequences.The results show that:Both the two proficiency groups exhibit sensitivity to token and type frequency effects in their compositional sequence processing,and there exists a trade-off between the two frequency effects;Higher proficiency learners generally outperform their lower proficiency counterparts on the processing of compositional sequences that vary in token and type frequencies.Accordingly,a tentative development pattern of the processing and representation of compositional sequences that have different token and type frequencies is proposed,and some pedagogical implications are provided to facilitate more effective acquisition of L2 sequences.The findings provide strong support for and contribute to the construction-based approach to L2 instruction.
