摘 要:为检验语言因素和非语言因素对英语词性表征的影响,本研究以英语同形异构名词和动词的词性输入分布和凸显事件要素的视觉情景为自变量,以中国英语学习者的词性表征类型为因变量开展实验。结果显示:1)词性输入分布显著影响英语学习者的词性表征,且名词表征显著优于动词表征;2)视觉情景促进英语学习者对动词词性的表征,压制名词表征。研究表明,英语学习者更倾向于表征具有高频输入特征的词性,但视觉情景能够激活英语学习者对事件要素的表征,连通动词句法的加工,该结果支持基于使用的语言习得观关于输入分布和感知经验影响语法表征的假设。To examine the effects of linguistic and non-linguistic factors on the representation of English parts of speech(PoS),this study conducted an experiment in which the input distribution of homomorphic nominal-verbal words and visual episodes with salient event elements were manipulated as independent variables,and PoS representation by Chinese English learners as the dependent variable.The results indicate that 1)input distribution of PoS produced a significant effect on learners'representation of English PoS,and the representation of nominal words outperformed that of their verbal counterparts.2)Visual episodes facilitated learners'representation of verbal words while inhibiting that of nominal words.This indicates that English learners had an increased likelihood of representing the PoS of words with a higher input frequency.Additionally,visual episodes stimulated the representation of event elements and connected them to verbal processing.Overall,the results support the claim of usage-based approaches to language learning that input distribution and perceptual experience affect grammatical representations.
