数据密集型范式下图书情报学研究方法的构成、演进与哲学认识

摘　　要：[目的/意义]研究方法是学科立足之本,科学研究范式则为固本之源,回望图书情报学研究方法的嬗变与审思科学研究范式的变革对推动学科创新发展具有重要意义。[方法/过程]以图书情报学32种SSCI期刊中2000—2023年间发表的学术论文为研究对象,综合运用内容分析与机器学习方法对这些论文研究方法的构成、演进与哲学认识展开探究。[结果/结论]数据密集型范式下图书情报学研究方法类型丰富,基本形成定量研究占主导,定性研究紧随其后,混合研究占有一席之地的多元方法并存格局,呈现定性研究方法向定量研究方法的转向趋势。同时,解释主义、实证主义与实用主义等哲学基础给予研究方法以指导和支撑作用。此外,数据密集型范式主导下,经验范式、理论范式和模拟范式依然对图书情报学研究方法产生重要影响,4种范式相得益彰共同推动学科前行。[Purpose/significance]Research method is the foundation of the discipline,and the research paradigm serves as the source of its stability.It is of great significance to look back on the transmutation of library and information science research method and consider the change of research paradigm in order to promote the innovation and development of the discipline.[Method/process]This study investigates the composition,evolution,and philosophical understanding of research methods in academic papers published in 32 SSCI journals in the field of library and information science between 2000 and 2023,utilizing a combination of content analysis and machine learning techniques.[Result/conclusion]Under the data-intensive paradigm,the types of research methods in the discipline are diverse,with quantitative research dominating,followed by qualitative research,and a coexistence pattern of mixed methods.There is a trend towards a shift from qualitative to quantitative research methods,guided and supported by philosophical foundations such as interpretivism,positivism,and pragmatism.Furthermore,under the dominance of the data-intensive paradigm,there still exist the empirical paradigm,the theoretical paradigm,and the simulation paradigm,and these four paradigms complement each other to jointly advance the discipline.
