摘　　要：以CSSCI来源期刊《华侨华人历史研究》一篇稿件结语的三次修改为例,探讨了论文结语写作的常见问题、形成原因及修改策略。初稿结语存在对论文内容缺乏总结、表述抽象笼统、对当下启示缺乏新意、条理性不足、繁简失当等问题。究其原因,一是对结语写作规范不够了解,二是对史实逻辑关系没有贯通;三是写作技巧上详略处理不够得当。历史学的鉴今,需要在详古基础上,进行批判性吸收和创新性利用;如果不能实现有效的鉴今,专注做好详古也是一种明智的选择。经过三次修改,定稿结语要素齐全,思路清晰,结构合理,语言规范,从初稿的狗尾续貂变成了最终的锦上添花。Using the example of three revisions of concluding remarks in a draft submitted to the CSSCI-source journal The Journal of Overseas Chinese History Studies,this paper delves into common issues,underlying causes,and amending strategies in writing the concluding remarks of research papers.The initial draft of the concluding remarks was found to be deficient in summarizing the paper's content,characterized by abstract and general statements,lacking novelty in its contemporary implications,inadequate organization,and improper balance between verbosity and conciseness.The reasons for these issues are attributed to three main factors:firstly,a lack of familiarity with the conventions governing the writing of concluding remarks;secondly,an insufficient grasp of the logical relationships among historical facts;and thirdly,inadequate handling of the elements of detail and brevity in writing techniques.The paper posits that history,as a mirror to the present,necessitates thorough comprehension of the past,followed by critical absorption and innovative utilization.If effective lessons for the present cannot be realized,devoting efforts solely to meticulous historiography can also be a wise choice.After three revisions,the final version of the concluding remarks became comprehensive,presenting a clear line of thought,a well-structured arrangement,and adherence to linguistic standards,and finally became the icing on the cake from the from a bad sequel.
