Objective To investigate the effect of nerve growth factor on motor function in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods A total of 120 patients with Parkinson's disease were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional drugs such as oral levodopa benserazide and carbidopa, and the observation group was treated with nerve growth factor on the basis of the control group. After three weeks of treatment, the balance instrument,Berg balance scale and'standing-walking'timing test were used to evaluate the improvement of motor function. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the average center of gravity movement range, the average Berg balance scale score, and the average'standing-walking'time between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, they were improved compared with those before treatment, and the improvement of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nerve growth factor adjuvant therapy for Parkinson's disease can significantly improve the motor function of patients, which is worthy of clinical reference.
