文化自然叙事学视角下的《红星照耀中国》研究

摘　　要：《红星照耀中国》是美国记者斯诺的非虚构文学作品,其对中国共产党在国际上的正面形象建构具有重大意义。从文化自然叙事学的角度,考察这部作品的主体性(身份)问题、自然叙事学(诗学)问题和“文化之普通”(意识形态)问题。研究发现,斯诺以异域文化他者的身份和自由主义立场,运用拟真叙事的方法,使作品达到了“真实性”“修辞性”和“可读性”的统一,成为一部极佳的非虚构文学作品,斯诺美国式的意识形态理念松散地驰骋在文本当中,与共产主义的“平等、进步、民主、国家正义”理念进行了耦合,向西方读者传递了一个自然化的关于红色中国革命图谱的迷思。他的这部作品形塑了历史,而他本人作为作品的主人公,成为参与历史建构的重要主体,谱写了一曲中国革命的华丽篇章。Red Star over China is a nonfiction literary work by American journalist Edgar Snow,which is of great significance to the positive image construction of the Communist Party of China in the international community.From the perspective of Cultural Natural Narratology,this paper examines the subjectivity(identity),natural narratology(poetics)and“cultural commonness”(ideology).Research indicates that Snow,with his identity as a foreign cultural other and a liberal stance,employs mimetic narrative methods to achieve a unity of“authenticity”,“rhetoricism”,and“readability”in his work,making it an excellent piece of non-fiction literature.Snow’s American-style ideological concepts loosely run through the text,coupling with the communist ideals of“equality,progress,democracy,and national justice”,conveying to Western readers a naturalized myth about the revolutionary landscape of Red China.His work has shaped history,and as the protagonist of his narrative,he becomes a significant agent in the construction of history,composing a magnificent chapter of the Chinese revolution.
