摘　　要：世界文学与翻译的关系密不可分,从世界文学的角度透视文学翻译,学术视野会更加开阔。卜立德是当代英国著名汉学家,兼有学者、老师、译者三重身份。他翻译的鲁迅杂文文采出众,文学性与思想性双相并茂,对鲁迅的研究颇有深度;他翻译的周作人散文出类拔萃,令人称道,对周作人的研究见解独特。本文以世界文学为视角,探讨卜立德关于周氏兄弟的主要译著成就,彰显它们对于二人文作走向世界文学的推动作用,并藉此讨论作为民族文学的作品,在走向世界文学的历程中,译者的任务为何。The connection between world literature and translation is undeniable.Viewing translation through the lens of world literature offers a comprehensive academic perspective.Professor David E.Pollard,a distinguished British sinologist,excels as a scholar,professor,and translator.His translations of Lu Xun’s Zawen exhibit both literary excellence and ideological depth.Pollard’s extensive research on Lu Xun has yielded profound insights.Furthermore,his translations of Zhou Zuoren’s prose are highly commendable,and his research on Zhou Zuoren has resulted in unique insights.From a world literature standpoint,this paper shines a light on Pollard’s translation and research accomplishments and their critiques,showcasing their significance in propelling the works of Lu Xun and Zhou Zuoren towards the realm of world literature.It also delves into the task of the translator in the journey of national literature towards achieving recognition as world literature.
