摘　　要：莫泊桑是19世纪法国杰出的批判现实主义作家,“世界短篇小说之王”。他的短篇小说以其深刻的思想性和高度的艺术性广泛而真实地反映了法国19世纪70年代前后的社会生活,他擅长从平凡琐屑的事件中截取富有典型意义的片断,以小见大地概括出生活的真实,注重选取丰富广泛多样的题材,设计集中曲折富有戏剧性的情节,运用简洁生动有功力的语言,擅长从新颖巧妙别具一格的视角来构思全篇,将短篇小说的艺术提升到了前所未有的高度,大大丰富了世界文学艺术的宝库。文章深入研究莫泊桑短篇小说的艺术特征,以期为后世短篇小说的创作技巧提供有益的借鉴。Guy de Maupassant,“the king of the short story in the world”,was an outstanding French critical realist writer in the 19th century.His short stories widely and truly reflect the social life of France around the 1870s with their profound thoughts and high artistry.He is good at extracting typical fragments from ordinary and trivial things,summarizing the reality of life through discovering the big by analyzing the small,focusing on selecting a wide variety of themes,designing concentrated,tortuous and dramatic plots,using simple,vivid and effective language,and conceiving the whole story from a novel,ingenious and unique perspective,which elevates the art of short stories to an unprecedented height and has greatly enriched the treasure house of world literature and art.This paper aims to conduct a in-depth study of the artistic characteristics of Guy de Maupassant's short stories,so as to provide useful reference for the writing skills of short stories in later generations.
