摘　　要：羊脂球是法国优秀的批判现实主义作家莫泊桑的短篇小说代表作《羊脂球》中的主人公,她是一个处在社会底层、被侮辱与被损害的善良、富有同情心和爱国精神、出身卑微、地位低下的妓女形象。莫泊桑通过对这个人物形象的成功塑造,再现了普法战争时期法国社会各阶层的人生百态,深刻揭露了资产阶级的卑鄙自私与道貌岸然的丑恶嘴脸,有力赞美了法国人民的爱国精神。深入研究羊脂球的人物形象能够为文学创作提供丰富的素材,并启发人们反思一些社会现象,思考人生的意义。Boule de Suif is the heroine in the short story Boule de Suif,the masterpiece of the excellent French critical realist writer Guy de Maupassant.She is a kind,compassionate,and patriotic prostitute with humble origins and low status who is at the bottom of society,always insulted and damaged.Through the successful portrayal of this character,Guy de Maupassant reproduced the life of all social classes in France during the Franco-Prussian War,deeply exposed the despicable selfishness and sanctimonious ugly face of the bourgeoisie,and strongly praised the patriotism of the French people.The in-depth study of the character image of Boule de Suif can provide rich materials for literary creation,and inspire people to reflect on some social phenomena and think about the meaning of life.
