摘　　要：当代美国小说家唐·德里罗的长篇处女作《美国志》体现了他在媒介生态中把艺术探索和社会批判结合起来的基本理念与方法论。小说运用了可揭示媒介本质的德罗斯特效应美学原则,将德罗斯特效应的两种基本范式“镜中镜”和“螺旋”打造为一个充满张力的动力复合体,旨在创新叙事手法、推进文本建构。《美国志》依赖德罗斯特效应镜中镜范式下的分形艺术,推动文本构形与主题发展,揭示了媒介对美国社会与人的主体性的控制、投射与复制;同时运用螺旋范式呈现艺术对媒介控制的离心超越与批判的能动性作用。德罗斯特效应美学原则的利用,使小说成为一个有机的动态体系,媒介批评、艺术创新和社会批判等元素在其中互映互动、彼此促进,实现三者的螺旋式递进发展。Contemporary American novelist Don DeLillo's first novel Americana embodies the novelist's basic notion and methodology of integrating artistic innovation and social criticism in the media ecology.Tapping the aesthetics of Droste effect capable of mirroring the nature of the media,Americana synthesizes the two basic formative paradigms of the Droste effect,i.e.mirror-in-mirror paradigm and spiral paradigm into a tension-charged dynamics to innovate on narrative technique and drive textual development.The fractal art under the mirror-in-mirror paradigm brings about the structural and thematic formation,revealing the control,projection and reproduction of the American society and subjectivity.The spiral paradigm functions to bring out the dynamic role of artistic creation in centrifugal transcendence over and critique of the media control.The application of the Droste effect systematizes the novel into the organic dynamics where the representation of media,artistic innovation and social critique interact and reflect one another,resulting in the spiral advance among each other.
