摘　　要：《克兰福德镇》是盖斯凯尔夫人最具代表性的乡村题材小说,体现了维多利亚时期社会转型的焦虑感。《克兰福德镇》小说文本建构了村镇这个固定空间,以传统文化和情感为纽带,关联成稳定的人类群体。在此固定空间生活的家族、村民结成小规模的“共同体”,他们的共同行为和价值观促进了集体的情感认同和安全感。在《克兰福德镇》中,盖斯凯尔夫人将构建共同体心灵纽带的情感浸润在所有活动中,关注个人与共同体的关系,体察共同体的情感体系,虚实相间地绘制现实生活景象。Cranford is Mrs.Gaskell’s most representative rural novel,embodying the anxiety of social transformation in the Victorian period.Cranford constructs the fixed space of villages and towns,which is connected with traditional culture and emotion to form a stable human group.The families and villagers living in this fixed space form a small-scale“community”,where their common behavior and values promote collective emotional identity and security.In Cranford,Mrs.Gaskell infiltrates the emotion of building the spiritual bond of the community into all activities,pays attention to the relationship between individuals and the community,perceives the emotional system of the community,and paints the scene of real life in both virtual and real places.
