摘  要:作为卢梭民主思想的重要概念,公意满足了梁启超推动中国政治由专制转向民主的现实需要,一度被梁启超推崇为现代政治分析的基本范畴。然而,由于思想跨文明传播不可避免的翻译失真问题,梁启超在摄取公意范畴的同时,误解并改造了这一概念,这最终促使他基于现实政治,转而对公意展开批判,力图揭示公意范畴存在的理论困境。由此可见,作为人类政治文明发展的常见现象,政治文明互鉴的效果受思想者的文本译介与现实关切深刻影响。As an important concept of Rousseau’s democratic thought,general will fulfilled Liang Qichao’s practical need to promote the transformation of Chinese politics from despotism to democracy,and was once promoted by him as a basic category of modern political analysis.However,due to the inevitable problem of translation distortion in the cross-civilizational transmission of ideas,when adopting the concept of general will,Liang Qichao misunderstood and transformed this notion,prompting him to turn to a realpolitik-based critic of general will to reveal the theoretical dilemma of this category.It can be seen that,as a common phenomenon in human political development,the effect of mutual appreciation of political civilizations is influenced by the textual translation and practical concerns of thinkers.
