嘉庚教育遗产的潜在价值与遗产构成初探

摘　　要：“嘉庚教育遗产”是爱国华侨陈嘉庚先生在祖国故土与侨居地兴办的各处学校及相关设施的系列遗存的统称。陈嘉庚先生亲力亲为、倾资办学长达半个世纪,理念先进,成果丰硕,形成了完整的教育体系和完备的教育场所。陈嘉庚先生的办学活动在教育兴国、文化交流、社群融合等方面具深远意义,嘉庚精神亦具有广泛的社会影响力。鉴此,笔者认为嘉庚教育遗产具备列入《世界遗产名录》的可能性。文章将对嘉庚教育遗产的历史背景、遗产特征、价值标准初步探讨,并进行国内外同类遗产的对比分析,进而提出嘉庚教育遗产申报世界文化遗产的策略建议。“Jiageng Educational Heritage”refers to the serial property of various schools and related facilities established by the patriotic overseas Chinese Mr.Chen Jiageng in his homeland and overseas residences.He was devoted to education and made substantial investment for the cause for half a century.With progressive ideas and fruitful achievements,he formed a comprehensive educational system and educational institutions.His educational endeavors have profound significance in terms of education for national development,cultural exchange,and community integration,with the“Jiageng Spirit”exerting extensive social influence.Given this context,the author posits that the Jiageng Educational Heritage holds potential for inscription on the World Heritage List.This article conducts a preliminary study on the historical background,heritage characteristics,and value of the Jiageng Educational Heritage,as well as a comparative analysis with similar heritage sites both domestically and internationally.Subsequently,it proposes strategic recommendations for the nomination of the Jiageng Educational Heritage as a WorldCultural Heritage.
