摘　　要：Following an in-depth analysis of the latest study by Ma et al.on the association between specific maternal diseases,including gestational diabetes and thyroid dysfunction,and an increased risk of congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract(CAKUT)in offspring[1],we acknowledge the predictive model established and the capacity for early identification and risk assessment.However,several issues may impact the interpretation of the results.
