摘　　要：Cover Story Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a complex neurodevelopmental condi-tion,characterized by social communication deficits,restrictive behaviors,and repetitive interests.Despite significant advances,the puzzle of ASD's etiology and effective treatment strategies remains unsolved.This special issue explores the multifaceted nature of ASD,from genetics to the psychological and neuro-logical features that define its progression.We delve into emerging models,novel behavioral paradigms,and innovative interventions aimed at improving diagnosis and therapeutic outcomes.As research uncovers more pieces,the quest for comprehensive solutions continues,offering hope for both patients and the scientific community.
