摘　　要：孙小淳教授新书《文明的积淀:中国古代科技》以“文明的视角”对中国古代科技发展的恢弘历程进行了新的发掘和展示,在超越“李约瑟问题”的同时实现了中国科技史透视和通史编撰的范式和方法的创新,对中国科技史研究和普及具有重要的示范意义。The work Legacy of Civilization:Ancient Chinese Science and Technology was written recently by professor Sun Xiaochun.Based on the new angle of view of civilization,the work not only surpasses Needham Puzzle,but also changes the paradigm and method in the review on history of science and technology in China and compilation of general history,therefore is of demonstration significance in the study and popularization of history of science and technology in China.
