摘　　要：本文旨在通过语料库批评话语分析方法分析西方英文新闻中关于中国巴黎奥运形象的话语。研究基于美国有线电视新闻网(Cable News Network)、美国联合通讯社(The Associated Press)、华盛顿邮报(The Washington Post)在2024年巴黎奥运会期间的涉华报道。采用定量研究结合定性方法,探讨中国在巴黎奥运会期间的形象是如何被构建的。研究发现,在有关中国巴黎奥运会的报道中,其所主题词表呈现的主题大多与兴奋剂相关,其检索行所显示出的深层语境下也是有关兴奋剂事件的质疑和对饭圈文化的批判,而这样的形象建构与西方的意识形态息息相关。The purpose of this paper is to analyze the discourse on China’s image of the Paris Olympics in Western English news through the critical discourse analysis method of corpus.The study is based on the Chinarelated reports of Cable News Network,The Associated Press,and The Washington Post during the 2024 Paris Olympics.Quantitative research combined with qualitative methods was used to explore how China’s image was constructed during the Paris Olympics.It is found that in the coverage of the Paris Olympics,most of the topics presented in the keyword lists are related to doping,and the search lines show the deeper contexts of questioning the doping incident and criticizing the culture of the rice circle,which are closely related to the Western ideology.
