摘　　要：在全球化和科技进步背景下,材料工程专业人才的需求不断增加,对面向应用的高校材料专业英语进行教学改革,对高校人才培养、学生的发展、英语教学理论与实践都具有重要的意义。本文对目前针对此类课程开展的教改相关活动进行了详细论述,并针对当前教学模式单一、实践机会不足、评价体系不完善等问题,提出了教学内容、教学模式和评价方式等多方面的改革措施。强调应用能力的培养,引入新的教学理念和方法,利用现代技术手段提升教学效果,注重多元化评价。本文旨在通过教学模式及评价方式的改革,提升材料工程专业英语的教学质量,培养学生的综合素质和国际竞争力,以适应社会的迫切需求。In the context of globalization and technological progress,the demand for materials engineering professionals is constantly increasing.Reforming the teaching of applied materials English in universities is of great significance for talent cultivation,student development,English teaching theory and time.This paper provides a detailed discussion on the current educational reform activities related to such courses,and proposes various reform measures in terms of teaching content,teaching mode,and evaluation methods in response to issues such as the monotony of current teaching modes,insufficient practical opportunities,and imperfect evaluation systems.The article emphasizes the cultivation of application abilities,introduces new teaching concepts and methods,utilizes modern technological means to enhance teaching effectiveness,and pays attention to diversified evaluation.The aim of this article is to improve the teaching quality of English for materials engineering majors through the reform of teaching modes and evaluation methods,cultivate students'comprehensive qualities and international competitiveness,and meet the urgent needs of society.
