摘 要:中国宗教文学史的研究,是对传统文学史研究的一个重要补充,同时也是对传统宗教史研究的一种重要拓展。中国历史上的儒道佛三教不是三种不同的宗教,而是华夏民族同一宗教的三个层面和三个组成部分;以三教为核心的宗教信仰,既与世界其他民族的宗教有相通之处,也形成了自己独特的宗教精神和宗教面貌,中国古代宗教与中国传统文学是水乳交融的关系,中国宗教文学史的研究应该充分尊重这一基本事实来确定研究内容和界限。在研究方法上,应借鉴钱锺书开创的具有真正现代科学价值的“打通”的学术思想,打通“思想”与“语言”之间的分界,打通“真”“幻”之间的分界,这应该成为我们今日研究“宗教文学”的一个重要出发点。The study of the history of religious literature in China is an important supplement to traditional literary history research and also a significant expansion of traditional religious history research.The three teachings of Confucianism,Daoism,and Buddhism in Chinese history are not three distinct religions but rather three aspects and components of a unified religion of the Huaxia people.The religious beliefs centered around these three teachings share commonalities with the religions of other nations while also forming their own unique religious spirit and character.The relationship between ancient Chinese religion and traditional Chinese literature is deeply intertwined.The study of the history of Chinese religious literature should fully respect this fundamental fact to determine its research content and boundaries.In terms ofresearch methods,we should draw on the academic thought of"bridging"pioneered by Qian Zhongshu,which possesses genuine modern scientific value.Breaking down the barriers between"thought"and"language",between"truth"and"illusion".This should be an important starting point for our contemporary study of"religious literature".
