摘　　要：张大庆教授新著《直面病痛:中国近现代医学史研究》一书汇集了其在医学史研究和教学工作领域的主要研究成果。该书分为中国近现代医学史、医学思想史、医学社会文化史、中外医学交流史、医学编史学和医学史教育凡六编,集中展现了张大庆教授立足当代中国的时代语境,以“直面病痛”的人文关怀对医学史研究相关主题的思考与探索,也反映出张大庆教授面向未来,关注现代医学困境的学术志趣。阅读此书,有助于读者把握中国近现代医学史研究的前沿与难题,理解和反思现代医学的本质、目的、限度与趋势。Professor Zhang Da-qing's new book,Facing Illness:A Study on the History of Modern Medicine in China,brings together his major research achievements in the fields of medical history research and education.The book is divided into six sections:History of Modern Medicine in China,History of Medical Thought,Social and Cultural History of Medicine,History of Sino-Foreign Medical Exchange,Historiography of Medicine,and Medical History Education.It focuses on Professor Zhang Daqing's reflections and explorations of themes in the history of medicine from the perspective of contemporary China,with a humanistic concern for"facing illness",reflecting his academic interest in addressing dilemmas of modern medicine.Reading this book provides readers with insights into the frontiers and challenges of modern and contemporary Chinese medical history research,fostering an understanding and critical reflection on the essence,purpose,limits,and trends of modern medicine.
