“改革开放”英译在澳大利亚主流报刊的传播与接受

摘　　要：中国特色大国外交话语的对外传播是构建中国国家形象的重要环节。为考察中国特色大国外交话语“改革开放”在澳大利亚主流报刊的传播与接受,自建新闻语料库,根据批评话语分析理论框架与费尔克拉夫的三维分析模型进行系统分析。在澳大利亚主流报刊报道中,“改革开放”存在多种英译,使用情况具有显著的共时特征与历时特征,与英美媒体的使用特征类似。澳大利亚主流报刊对中国改革开放的态度呈现从“肯定”到“否定”的转变。澳大利亚主流报刊对中国改革开放内涵的认识虽有部分较为中肯,但总体上较为片面,存在误解或偏见。The overseas dissemination of the diplomatic discourse of a great power with Chinese characteristics is an indispensable component in the construction of China s national image.In order to investigate the dissemination and reception of the diplomatic discourse term“Gaige Kaifang”in the Australian mainstream newspapers,a news corpus was established,and a systematic analysis was carried out based on the theoretical framework of critical discourse analysis and Fairclough s three-dimensional analytical model.It is concluded that there are various English translations of“Gaige Kaifang”in the Australian mainstream newspapers,and the use of the term shows significant synchronic and diachronic features,similar to the use of the term in the British and American media.The attitude towards“Gaige Kaifang”in the Australian mainstream newspapers has changed from“affirmative”to“negative”.In addition,although the Australian mainstream newspapers possess some pertinent perceptions of the meaning of“Gaige Kaifang”,the overall understanding is rather incomplete,and there is a certain degree of misunderstanding or bias.
