摘  要:河南武陟县文庙现存《尊敬长上图》《和睦乡里图》两块碑,系明万历年间武陟知县秦之英推行乡约时所留下的《六谕解》六块碑中的两块。《六谕解》碑的碑阳刻有秦之英对明太祖“六谕”的逐条注解,碑阴刻有地方画家周万书绘制的阐释“六谕”的图像。《六谕解》碑是明代士大夫诠释六谕之风与万历年间“图说”“图解”风潮合流的产物,秦之英的注解展现了他对六谕的认识特色,碑阴的两幅图像《尊敬长上图》《和睦乡里图》具有的直观性和叙事性,适应了基层社会推行官方意识形态的特点,而图像的风格和绘制者周万书的生平状况展现了明代地方画家运用图像满足具体功能需求的一个侧影。The two existing steles of Respecting the Elders and Harmonious Neighborhood in the Confucian Temple of Wuzhi County,He’nan Province are two of the six“Six-Value Interpretation”steles erected by Qin Zhiying,the magistrate of Wuzhi County during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty,to enforce local rules.The front of the steles is engraved with Qin’s annotations to the“Six Values”put forward by Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty,and the back is engraved with paintings drawn by local painter Zhou Wanshu to interpret the“Six Values”.The“Six-Value Interpretation”steles were the product of the trend of interpreting the Six Values among scholars during the Ming Dynasty and the trend of interpreting via paintings in the Wanli era.Qin’s annotations demonstrated his understanding of the Six Values,and the two narrative paintings that were easy to understand were in line with the characteristics of governments at the grassroots level promoting official thoughts.The style of the two paintings,together with the experience of the painter Zhou Wanshu,demonstrates that local painters of the Ming Dynasty met specific needs through paintings.
