摘　　要：心有大我,让他的行止有了山的巍峨;至诚报国,让他的胸怀有了海的辽阔。他以战略科学家的气魄,为国家地球深部探测技术运筹帷幄;他以教育家的身姿,为培养学生尽心尽责;他似一朵浪花撞击着梦想的礁石,又像炽热的熔岩冲出地壳,奔涌燃烧,光芒四射直至生命的最后一刻。他就是时代楷模--黄大年。Huang Danian was born in Nanning City,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 1958.In 1977,he was admitted to Changchun College of Geology(now Jilin University).From staying to teach after graduation,to obtaining a master’s degree,and then receiving full 1)funding from the“Sino-British Friendship Scholarship Program”to go to Britain for further study,Huang Danian,along with China after the reform and opening up,was trying to catch up with the world’s advanced science and technology.In 1996,he obtained a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Leeds.
