俄罗斯“白银时代”的精神图景和心灵印记——评阿列克谢·瓦尔拉莫夫的长篇小说《臆想之狼》

摘　　要：阿列克谢·瓦尔拉莫夫的长篇小说《臆想之狼》不以书写历史事件和历史人物为重,不为“白银时代”的宏大历史作证,而将思想与美学空间让给了时代精神和人的展现,特别是知识精英思想历程和心灵情感的描叙上。小说通过运用历史真实与审美虚构相结合的手法,揭示了19世纪末20世纪初这一历史文化转型时期普遍弥漫在俄罗斯社会中思想无力、精神无根的状态,同时对俄罗斯人的文化身份、自我定位及道路选择进行探讨,追问这些困惑了20世纪俄国知识分子几代人的问题,为“白银时代”留下了一幅生动鲜活、意义深邃的精神图景和心灵印记。瓦尔拉莫夫由此实现了向“白银时代”历史文化的致敬、回归和反思。Alexei Varlamov's novel The Mental Wolf does not focus on historical events and figures,nor does it serve as a testimony to the grand history of the“Silver Age.”Rather,it is devoted to depicting the spirit of the time and its people,especially the changing mindset and emotional experiences of the intellectual elite.By combining historical truth and fiction,the novel reveals the powerlessness of thought and rootlessness of spirit that pervaded Russian society during the social transformations of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.It also explores the cultural identity,self-positioning,and choices of Russians,which continued to perplex several generations of Russian intellectuals in the twentieth century,thus contributing to the vivid and profound spiritual image of the“Silver Age.”In this way,Varlamov's novel pays tribute to,while returning to and reflecting on,the history and culture of the“Silver Age.”
