A Cognitive Approach to the Creativity of Acoustic Narrative

摘  要:本文主要基于认知语言学理论探讨如何通过创新常识性听觉叙事理想化认知模型(ICM)来实现听觉叙事创新。基于对听觉叙事的一般认知,我们构建了一个有关听觉叙事的常识性ICM,其包括十个认知模型(CM):理论立场、媒介、范畴化、理据、前景/背景、意义、主角、社会化、价值和声音掩蔽模型。基于对常识性听觉叙事ICM的再框架化,建构了一个更有创新性的、同样包括十个CM的听觉叙事ICM。本文重点探讨了如何基于其中三个创新性CM来实现听觉叙事实践创新。从认知角度探讨听觉叙事创新问题有助于我们加深对叙事本质的理解:叙事本质上不只是一个语言问题,更是一个认知问题。Approached from cognitive linguistics,this paper aims to explore how to achieve creativity by constructing an innovative idealized cognitive model(ICM)of acoustic narrative.Based on the general understanding of acoustic narrative,a general ICM of acoustic narrative is worked out,which consists of ten cognitive models(CMs):theoretical stance model,media model,categorization model,rationale model,foreground/background model,meaning model,protagonist model,socialization model,value model and sound obstruction model.By reframing the general ICM of acoustic narrative,an innovative ICM of acoustic narrative is suggested,which consists of ten creative cognitive models.In the end,taking three out of the ten innovative cognitive models as guiding principles of conceptual organization of acoustic narrative,this paper works out an account of how innovative cognitive model of acoustic narrative shapes acoustic narrative practices.A cognitive approach to acoustic narrative helps us better understand the nature of narrative:fundamentally,narrative is more a cognitive issue than a linguistic one.
