线性、非线性、契机性:技术建构视野下的媒介时间嬗变

摘　　要：从媒介技术发展看,大众媒体技术建构了有序的线性媒介时间,网络媒体技术建构了无序的非线性媒介时间,而智能媒体技术则建构的是看似无序、但却遵循“契机性”逻辑的媒介时间。“契机性”时间是指经算法对用户数据的分析运算而得到的契合用户需求的“合适时间”。算法在“合适时间”向用户推送“合适的内容”,将极大地提升信息传播的精准度与实际效果。但对算法建构契机性时间也应保持审慎。契机性时间形成的“个人时间”框架将发起对“公共时间”框架的冲击,导致公共交往困境和社会共识危机;作为时间规则的制定者,算法拥有了无上的权力。它既是上帝之眼,又有无形的手,通过对数据、权重和模型的调整轻而易举地改变时间结构与形态,进而形成对社会的操纵。From the perspective of media technology development,mass media technology constructs orderly chronological media time,network media technology constructs disordered non-chronological media time,and intelligent media technology constructs seemingly disordered media time,but follows the logic of“kairologic”.The“kairologic”time refers to the“right time”that meets the users'needs obtained by the algorithm's analysis and calculation of user data.The algorithm pushes“right content”to users at“right time”,which will greatly improve the accuracy and actual effect of information dissemination.However,we should be cautious about the kairologic time which algorithm constructs.The“personal time”framework formed by the kairologic time will launch an impact on the“public time”framework,leading to the dilemma of public communication and the crisis of social consensus.As the maker of time rules,the algorithm has supreme power.It is both the eye of God and the invisible hand.It can easily change the structure and form of time through the adjustment of data,weight and model,and then form the manipulation of society.
