A Complex Case of Acute Cerebral Infarction in an Elderly Patient with Valvular Heart Disease and Hypertension

摘　　要：This case report describes the presentation,diagnosis,and treatment of a 69-year-old woman with acute cerebral infarction concomitant with valvular heart disease and hypertension.The patient presented with a syncopal episode followed by poor limb movement.Clinical symptoms and signs,and multiple diagnostic tests,including cranial computed tomography(CT),CT angiography,and cerebral CT perfusion analysis,revealed a definitive diagnosis of cerebral infarction.The patient underwent a multidisciplinary treatment approach.This case study underscores the critical importance of prompt multidisciplinary management in cases of acute cerebral infarction.Moreover,the case prompts further exploration into potential contributory factors,such as tricuspid regurgitation and pulmonary arterial hypertension,which may expand our understanding of cerebral infarction etiology beyond conventional risk factors.
